Circuits class, on any laptop.
The simulator is free for every student. Instructors share circuits by link.
For students
- Runs on the laptop you have
- A browser is all it needs, on macOS, Windows, Linux or ChromeOS. No installer, no virtual machine.
- Opens the files your course hands out
- LTspice .asc schematics, SPICE netlists, KiCad sheets and Falstad circuits import directly.
- Checks a hand calculation
- Work it out on paper, then simulate it and compare the number you got with the one the circuit gives.
- Shares with a TA
- Send a link at view or comment access so someone can see exactly what you built.
The Student plan adds Sol, the stronger reasoning model, and a larger assistant allowance for $20 a month. It needs a school email address. See pricing
For instructors
- One link for the whole class
- Share a live circuit with view, comment or edit access. Changes show up for everyone with the link.
- Every student gets their own copy
- Remix turns a shared circuit into a private copy a student can change without touching yours.
- Comments on the schematic
- Leave notes on a part, a wire or a net, and resolve them when they are addressed.
- Numbers you can check
- Each reference circuit is compared with its closed-form answer and with ngspice, and the results are public.
Read how the engine is checked in the validation report, including the cases where it disagrees with ngspice.
