A PSpice alternative for analog simulation.
SPICE analysis in the browser, on any operating system, with an AI agent that designs, simulates and verifies against your spec.

Spice++ and PSpice
PSpice is Cadence's commercial SPICE simulator, part of OrCAD. Spice++ is a different choice for different work.
| Aspect | Spice++ | PSpice |
|---|---|---|
| Runs in | A web browser | A desktop application for Windows |
| Install and licensing | None, sign in and start | Installed, licensed per seat as part of OrCAD |
| Price | Free simulator, paid assistant plans | Commercial license |
| AI design agent | Yes, with measured spec checks | No |
| Share a live circuit | By link, with view, comment or edit access | By sending project files |
| Files | SPICE netlists, LTspice, KiCad and Falstad | OrCAD Capture projects and PSpice netlists |
| Device models | Level 1 MOSFETs, Ebers-Moll BJTs, VDMOS and macromodels | A far larger library of vendor models and more advanced device models |
The analyses you rely on
- AC analysis and Bode plots
- Small-signal frequency response with magnitude, phase and cursors.
- Transient analysis
- Time domain with adaptive steps and an FFT view of the result.
- Monte Carlo and corners
- Tolerance runs with spread and yield, and worst-case corners, run by the agent.
- Parameter sweeps
- Step component values, a .param or temperature across up to two axes.
- Noise
- Output and input-referred noise density, and which parts contribute.
- Stability
- Loop gain with phase and gain margins from the broken loop.
Questions
Can Spice++ open PSpice or OrCAD projects?
Not directly. It imports SPICE netlists in the Berkeley SPICE3 dialect with common LTspice and ngspice extensions, so a netlist exported in that form can be opened. OrCAD Capture projects are not read.
Is Spice++ a free PSpice alternative?
The simulator is free, with no limits on circuits or analyses. Paid plans add assistant usage and stronger AI models.
Does it do Monte Carlo analysis?
Yes. The agent runs Monte Carlo and worst-case corner analysis over component tolerances and reports spread and yield against your spec.
When is PSpice the better choice?
When you need a vendor's model library, advanced transistor models or an OrCAD design flow through to PCB layout. Spice++ is aimed at board-level analog design, learning and fast verification.
Does it run on a Mac?
Yes. Spice++ runs in any modern browser on macOS, Windows, Linux and ChromeOS.
