Capabilities
- Design from a specification, and build and verify in one step
- Diagnose a failing design and repair it
- Monte Carlo and worst-case corner analysis across tolerances
- Optimise component values against several targets
- Stability: loop gain, phase margin and gain margin
- Noise analysis and sensitivity to each part
- Filter design (Sallen-Key and RC, Butterworth, Bessel or Chebyshev response) and switching converters (buck, boost, buck-boost)
- Fault injection: open or short any part and see the effect
- Transfer functions, operating points, explanations of a circuit or a pin
- Assembly instructions for building the circuit on a breadboard
Limits
The assistant can be wrong, and a simulation is a model of reality. Read its result, check the numbers that matter to you, and verify any design before you build it, especially for high voltage, high current or anything safety related.
